National Rebuilding Day
National Rebuilding Day is a city-wide revitalization effort that engages volunteers and companies in the Portland Area to provide repairs for homeowners who cannot do the work themselves. Repairs differ from house to house, but often include carpentry, plumbing, weatherization, electrical, debris removal, and more.
Corporate Sponsors get a hands-on team-building experience for a group of employees and their family members to work together on a home or nonprofit rebuilding project – engaging their community and making a difference they can see!
After 35 years of bringing neighbors together, Portlanders are now living and working in safer, healthier, and brighter homes and community spaces! Nail by nail and block by block, volunteers become part of a community revitalization movement that is creating safe and healthy homes for some of Portland’s most vulnerable communities.
